My name is Giuseppe Bottaro, I was born and raised in one of the most beautiful coasts of eastern Sicily, Augusta.
Having the sea so close allowed me to acknowledge many of its aspects and a sense of respect and admiration for this complex ecosystem has grown within me.
Fishing has always been an activity aimed not only at capture itself, but a world to be studied and understood in order to be able to measure myself with the most powerful animals that populate it.
Thanks to the particular feeling that I have developed, I have the pleasure of experiencing unforgettable adventures that still drive me to discover and respect this wonderful environment, emotions that I hope to be able to transmit and share with you.

The Amateur Sports Association “Pescare Sicilia” (Fishing Sicily) is affiliated with FIPSAS (Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities), a sports promotion organization recognized by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee) – affiliation no. 0870113S, CONI registry no. 93254930873. Our activities are carried out in accordance with our institutional aims and are essential for the development and promotion of national amateur sports. Those interested in participating in sports activities with our association can apply for membership and registration to the Board of Directors.
